Welcome to Bath School of Dance

Established in 1972, Bath School of Dance offers classes in classical ballet, contemporary dance, jazz and more. Based in Combe Down (Bath) and Bradford-on-Avon, the School promotes a welcoming and inclusive

environment for dancers of all ages and abilities.

 

We encourage a holistic approach to dance and our timetable of non-syllabus dance classes for children and adults and workshop sessions in diverse dance styles complements and enhances Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) ballet training. We also recognise the importance of dance to our students’ physical and mental well-being and to their personal growth.
 

Our teachers bring a wealth of experience, working together to encourage our students to build their confidence and stage presence through taking their RAD examinations and participating in our annual shows. Looking to

In addition to our weekly classes, we are proud to offer opportunities beyond the studio. Our BSD Performance Company is an audition-based group that gives dancers the chance to perform at high-profile events and gain real-world industry experience.

We believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to dance. Our Dancer Support crowdfund is an ongoing fund to support dancers on a low income. All donations to the fund are gratefully received. If you would like to access support from this fund, please contact us for an informal chat.
